The boat club is governed by a committee consisting of student representatives and an overseeing Senior Member (currently Douglas Dupree). All are unelected, or elected by the previous committee, and volunteer their time to the club. Here they are:

President - Nick Parkinson Having sworn on arrival at Balliol in 2009 that I’d finally left my rowing past behind me, I quickly slipped back into old habits and, intrigued by the prospects of college rowing and bumps racing, joined BCBC. Neither was a disappointment, and I ended up coxing 2010’s M1 crew before taking on the men's captaincy in 2011 while continuing to steer M1. Now, I’m continuing my involvement as president, responsible for the well-being of the club as a whole and hoping to help continue taking Balliol from strength to strength. |
