Annoyingly lots have people have scratched. This is the state of play. The Mens 4+ competition seems to be a go. In the Mens 8+, the final of the main event will be between Exeter 2nd and either Trinity 2nd Brasenose 1st. The Plate final will be between Brasenose 3rd and either Lincoln 2nd or Brasenose 2nd

Magdalen half a length up against queens.

Exeter beat jesus. Jesus will got to race 17 against brasenose. exeter will go to 27

Brasenose win, they go to 14, Lincoln go to 21

Only joking. Everyone has scratched so far. Not had a competitive race. We’re rejigging the timetable to put second round losers into the Plate since otherwise people will only race once.

Despite my earlier pessimism it looks like its shaping up to be a really nice day. Let’s hope it holds out!
