Having spent last year as men’s captain and getting the Spring 2nds Regatta off the ground, as President I’m on hand to help out Nick, Graham, Sophie and Tom (as well as the rest of the committee) in their hard work throughout the year.

As is the case with most members of the club, I started rowing here at Balliol, and my technique has since been complimented as “not terrible” by crewmates and coaches. From September I will be trialling to compete in the 2011 Boat Race in March; if I don’t make Isis I’ll be coming back in Hilary in our challenge for the Torpids headship!
